Vintage Advertising is a unique art form, combining history, commerce and creative talents. Such iconic American artists as Norman Rockwell and Maxfield Parrish began their careers by illuminating America’s favorite products.
Savor New York has a treasure in Ned Martelle, a master framer and archivist who pores through thousands of materials, finding unique ads and prints that reveal our collective past. He then makes frames starting with cutting the trees from his 100+ acre farm near Lake Ontario. He carefully coordinates and cuts the mats, then frames his truly one-of-a-kind pieces.
If you have a favorite product or theme, let us know; we’ll have Ned find something sure to please.
