This elegant, attractive system takes the frustration out of starting a flame in your fireplace, wood stove, or campfire. Living Upstate, we know the importance of a glowing fire, and the annoyance of trying to get it blazing. The Adirondack Fire Starter is so simple! Just soak the porcelain bulb in the liquid paraffin, roll it in ashes, and light. The porcelain will burn with an ample flame for 15-30 minutes, plenty of time to get your seasoned wood burning. Complete instructions are included in the kit.
We use this system for our own fireplaces at Bryn Brooke Manor.
The Adirondack Fire Starting Kit contains cold rolled steel and porcelain wand, a handmade and numbered storage crock, and two (20 ounce) bottles of liquid paraffin.
