The most versatile mix in your pantry! Delicious as is, or use it as a base for carrot cake, apple cake, banana walnut cake, and many others. We use this mix to make our Marvelous Oatmeal Cookies.
Marvelous Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup (2 sticks) soft butter
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
1 package SNY Spice Cake Mix
3 cups oats
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup raisins or other dried fruit (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, stir first four ingredients together. Add remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet, spacing 2 inches apart, and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
