Designed and manufactured in the Western New York town of Phelps (also known for its Sauerkraut Festival every August) these practical and attractive warming stones are made from American clays in a wide variety of themes. Just warm in a hot oven for 5- 10 minutes and put in the bottom of a basket or bowl, line with a napkin, and place buns or rolls inside to keep them toasty and fragrant. A simple, yet ingenious idea. When not keeping bread warm, they are beautiful displayed on a wall or in a stand.
